Avatar em Blu-ray 3D sai em dezembro, mas exclusivo da Panasonic!
Anúncio do lançamento da edição de colecionador de Avatar nos EUA, extraído do site MessagefromPandora.org.
Mal foram divulgados os detalhes sobre a edição de colecionador de “Avatar” em Blu-ray, que será lançada em 16 de novembro nos EUA, e James Cameron apronta uma dessas: o BD 3D do filme, que não será incluído na edição de colecionador, será lançado ainda este ano, no dia 1º de dezembro, mas com exclusividade para quem comprar os players 3D ou TVs 3D da Panasonic.
Isso mesmo: quem quiser ver em casa a versão 3D de “Avatar” – ou para ser mais preciso, quem quiser ver o filme da forma como ele foi concebido – terá que comprar junto um dos aparelhos 3D da Panasonic.
Essa possibilidade já havia sido levantada em maio pelo site Blu-ray.com, mas agora existe uma confirmação de uma fonte da indústria, segundo o site HollywoodinHiDef.com, de que o acordo com a Fox está feito. O período que essa exclusividade da Panasonic irá durar é que não está claro.
Venda casada não é novidade. A DreamWorks já havia feito um acordo parecido para incluir o BD 3D de “Monstros vs. Aliens” nos equipamentos 3D da Samsung. E o mesmo será feito pela Disney com o BD 3D de “Alice no País das Maravilhas”, que será vendido junto com players e TVs 3D da Sony.
Portanto, amigos, quem quiser ver filme 3D nesse começo de distribuição do formato terá que combinar sessão na casa dos amigos ou pegar o disco emprestado. Se é que alguém vai querer emprestar…

Uma pena, Avatar em 3D no Imax foi uma experiencia inesquecivel.

Bom sou "SONYSTA" (menos no game), então vou ficar fora por muito tempo, se bem que não ligo muito para esse lance de 3D, é legal e tal mas não ligo muito pra isso não…….vou fazer o seguinte: como não consegui ver Avatar em 3D no cinema (salas cheias de dar dó), vou ver na reprise de Outubro !!!!!!

Tô mais preocupado com o BD de Alice. Não deu pra eu ver o filme em 3-D no cinema, mas tô querendo.
Mas é uma sacanagem fazerem essa coisa de BD casado. Uma coisa é dar de brinde mas disponibilizar no mercado. Outra é deixar só disponível comprando outra coisa (que, às vezes, não é o modelo que você quer ou que você já tem).
Esse tipo de coisa já era esperado.
Faz tempo que tem um monte de gente falando bobagem sobre tecnologia 3D para uso doméstico.
Eu já vinha dizendo há tempos nos foruns do orkut que não existe padrão para 3D doméstico. Cada marca está soltando seu sistema e eles não conversam entre si. Nesse caso de Avatar e Alice, os beneficiados serão os sistemas da Pana e da Sony, respectivamente. Mas tem ainda o sistema da Samsung que vai querer morder sua fatia do mercado.
A menos que os parâmetros para o sistema 3D doméstico tivessem sido "standardizados" (e não foram), o resultado só poderia ser esse: os estúdios terão que optar por qual sistema lançarão seus títulos em 3D.
Por isso, o 3D não deve ser uma preocupação imediata dos consumidores. Se isso virar uma nova guerra de formatos, corre-se o risco de o 3D não sobreviver na sua forma doméstica e, quem investiu em equipamento agora no início, ficar com um elefante branco inútil em casa.
Vamos dar tempo e ver aonde isso vai levar.
Acredito que 3D em casa nunca será a mesma coisa de 3D no cinema.
