“De Volta Para o Futuro” anunciado oficialmente em Blu-ray!

A Universal anunciou oficialmente o lançamento do box Trilogia De Volta Para o Futuro: 25º Aniversário para o dia 26 de outubro. Os filmes virão numa nova restauração de imagem, áudio original em DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 e com mais de duas horas de extras inéditos.

Nos Estados Unidos os filmes não trarão opções no nosso idioma, mas o site Blu-rays Legendados informou que no Reino Unido o box trará legendas em português de Portugal (PT-PT). Nós bem sabemos como a Universal tem encarado o Blu-ray aqui no Brasil, por isso a notícia de que na terra dos Beatles haverá ao menos essa opção no idioma já é um alento.

Sobre a inclusão da dublagem clássica num possível lançamento desse box aqui no Brasil, não se deve manter as esperanças. Se no DVD já não incluíram, aqui a história deverá se repetir. Isso tudo, claro, se a Universal resolver lançar a trilogia em Blu-ray por aqui.

A lista de extras será a seguinte (em vermelho, os extras inéditos):

    • Third Time’s the Charm: Learn about building a western town, Doc Brown’s love story, the casting of Mary Steenburgen, the train sequence and completing the Trilogy.
    • The Test of Time: Back to the Future becomes a phenomenon! President Reagan quotes the film, the Back to the Future ride opens at Universal Studios theme park and fans rebuild the iconic DeLorean. The film’s cast and crew take a look back and discuss why these beloved movies live on.
  • The Physics of Back to the Future: A discussion with celebrity best-selling author and physicist Dr. Michio Kaku about the overall appreciation of the science in the Back to the Future Trilogy
  • Nuclear test site ending storyboard sequence: Storyboard sequence of the original proposed ending of the film.
