Post do Leitor – Metallica: Orgulho, Paixão e Glória
Depois de onze anos longe dos palcos brasileiros, finalmente o Metallica passou novamente pela América do Sul, com direito a três shows no Brasil.
Excursionando em suporte ao álbum Death Magnetic de 2008, a banda ainda trouxe na bagagem seu novo lançamento em DVD/Blu-ray
Lançado em dezembro do ano passado, “Orgulho, Paixão e Glória – Três Noites na Cidade do México” foi gravado durante três apresentações na Cidade do México e vem em quatro versões diferentes: DVD simples, DVD simples + CD duplo, DVD duplo + CD duplo e BD simples. O foco aqui será no que considero as duas melhores versões, que são o BD e o DVD duplo + CD duplo.
Uma peculiaridade deste lançamento é que ele é focado para os países da América Latina, tendo seu título, créditos e legendas devidamente traduzidos para o idioma local.
Como sabemos que vida de colecionador nunca é fácil, a Universal fez o favor de nos “presentear” apenas com a versão simples no final do ano passado, segurando o lançamento da versão dupla e do BD apenas para fevereiro de 2010.
Apelando para o eBay, consegui a versão mexicana “Orgullo, Pasión Y Gloria – Tres Noches em La Ciudad de México”.
Trazendo dois DVDs e dois CDs, a edição vem num belíssimo Digipak, e apresenta o seguinte conteúdo:

Já em relação ao Blu-ray, aguardei o lançamento nacional que felizmente não deve nada ao gringo. O conteúdo, por sua vez, é idêntico ao DVD 1 do box apresentado acima.

Avaliação
Sendo um colecionador tanto de DVD/BD quanto dos lançamentos do Metallica, fica difícil não recomendar este título.
Não há nada que possa ser dito da performance da banda, que parece apenas melhorar com o tempo.
A qualidade de imagem tanto do BD quanto do DVD são espetaculares, embora a meu ver, o BD não apresente toda a qualidade que poderia ter (tomo como base um lançamento similar, do filme/show Flight 666 do Iron Maiden que apresenta uma imagem irretocável). Mas longe de ser ruim, pelo contrário, numa comparação direta com o DVD a qualidade é imensamente superior.
O áudio, por outro lado, não deixa qualquer espaço para questionamento, está bem distribuído por todos os canais e é um verdadeiro “tapa na orelha”.
Enfim, para quem é fã do Metallica, compre sem medo.

Acabei de garantir a minha pelo submarino…Uma dúvida, a edição brasileira também vem nesse Digipak da foto?
tive a oportunidade de ver o show em Porto Alegre e já encomendei a versão com 4 discos, pra quem é fã vale muito a pena!

Por algum motivo o Intense Debate não está carregando. Mas respondendo ao Vinicius, pelas fotos que vi por aí a edição nacional vem em digipak tb, mas parece que a ultima aba é um digiduplo (com os discos sobrepostos).
Já recebi o meu. Paguei R$ 39,90 no Submarino, mas já voltou ao preço normal que é R$ 59,90.
A última parte da caixa é em digiduplo.
Cara eu ja tenho esse, mas tenho que dizer que na minha opinião esse e o melhor show do metallica EVER.
