Primeiras impressões de Bug’s Life em Blu-ray (EUA)
Já começam a pipocar resenhas sobre o Blu-ray de Bug’s Life (Vida de Inseto), que será lançado no próximo dia 19 de maio nos EUA. Como já virou tradição nos seus lançamentos em BD, a Pixar mandou muito bem, tendo nota máxima em quase todos os requisitos avaliados nas análises já publicadas.
Infelizmente, na edição dos EUA não há legendas nem áudio em português. Ainda não temos informações se haverá algum país com esta opção de linguagem.
Sobre os extras, a edição possui tudo o que já havia no DVD e muito mais. Vale destacar a estréia do curta Silly Symphony chamado Grasshopper and the Ants em alta definição pela primeira vez! O curta é um dos extras mais festejados, e que ainda inclui uma introdução com John Lasseter e Andrew Stanton. Para quem não lembra dessa preciosidade, vejam no YouTube:

* “Filmmakers Round Table” (21:00 – HD) is a new exclusive featurette featuring the filmmakers discussing the film. The folks at the table include (obviously) John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Darla Anderson and Kevin Rehar. This proves to be a definite MUST-WATCH for anyone who is a fan of Pixar or just the film itself.
* “A Bug’s Life: The First Draft” includes an optional “Story Treatment Intro by John Lasseter” (10:49 – HD)
* “Geri’s Game” (4:55 – HD) is an Academy Award-winning short film by the folks at Pixar. This features Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.
* “A Walt Disney Silly Symphony Cartoon” called “Grasshopper and the Ants” (8:15 – HD) from 1934.

Assisti a uma cópia em mkv desse blu-ray ontem (está disponível na usenet – 5GB em 1080p), e mesmo num arquivo compactado a imagem é linda; nitidez e detalhes impressionantes. Quando sair aqui, com certeza, vou comprar.
Esse é um dos dois filmes na Pixar que ainda não tenho em DVD (o outro é Toy Story 2), então a possibilidade de adquirí-lo em BD é maior! Ainda não faço parte do Lado Azul da Força, mas quem sabe até lá, né!

Espero que seja lançado por aqui também, já que apesar de particularmente não precisar de dublagem ou legenda em português, eu curto muito a dublagem brasileira desse filme.

Lembro sim que vc adiantou este fato, e desde então, as pessoas ansiavam por esse momento.
O Motivo de eu ter colocado aí é que muitas pessoas estavam cobrando que isso acontecesse. E pela 1° vez aconteceu. Casa e Vídeo, pelo que sei, foi primeira loja a disponibilizar BDs a esse preço, portanto é bom as pessoas já ficarem atentas.
